Ashland Implementation Priorities
Each core chapter within the Ashland Comprehensive Plan concludes with a list of goals, policies, and action items. Tell us what goals, policies, and action items you think should be a high, medium, or low priority for the City. Your input ensures that policies and action items match public priorities, so City leaders can act on what matters most to the community with confidence.
Goals are visionary and reflect what the City should aspire to achieve. They are intentionally broad and aspirational.
Policies include specific regulatory or administrative actions that are continuing efforts over a long time period, such as a guiding policy when reviewing development requests.
Action Items include specific efforts or accomplishments made by the community, such as implementing a specific code or seeking out grant funding through an available program.
Please review the draft implementation matrix items from the Comprehensive Plan -- there are six (6) section topics that require your input. You don't need to review all policy and action items—focus on the ones that matter most to you. For each item, adjust the scale from 'low priority' to 'high priority' based on its importance to you. Additionally, if you believe an action item or policy is missing, the final section of the survey includes a comment box where you can share your thoughts.
