Welcome!

The City of Burnsville is a changing/evolving community and to ensure that we are providing opportunities for recreation and enjoyment of the outdoors we are excited to begin the process of updating our parks plan. Community input is vital to this process, so the City needs your help to create a vision for parks and recreation in our community. This information will be used to help us prioritize the development, activation and maintenance of these spaces and provide all citizens of Burnsville with a park system that reflects the wants and needs of our community.

We are now entering the second phase of our master planning process. The goal of this phase is to look in detail at specific parks and vision potential improvements. The parks identified for visioning include many community and neighborhood parks throughout Burnsville. These vision plans will be used to direct future maintenance and development within the parks.

Two vision plans have been created for each park listed below. Click on each park to provide comments on the vision plans. Each park has a base concept and a visionary concept.

Base Concepts - this plan reflects near-term changes being considered in the next five to ten years.

Visionary Concepts - this plan reflects long-term concepts to improve the park ten or more years into the future. These plans will require further engagement and planning prior to implementation.
