What is a Comprehensive Plan?

A comprehensive plan is a long-range visioning document that presents a series of goals and visions for the community to a horizon year, typically twenty or more years into the future. Topics, such as housing, economic development, land use, infrastructure, and community character, are often the core chapters explored as part of the project. These plans are integral to the growth and quality of life experienced in a community, and we need your help generating ideas on the future of Lansing!
