The 50+ acre park site will be designed to be a vibrant and inclusive space for all ages and abilities. Additionally, there’s approximately 40-acres of remnant Big Woods adjacent to the park that the City is working to preserve this area as development occurs. The new park will compliment Chaska’s other existing community parks – Firemen’s Park, Veterans Park, Community Park, and McKnight Park – offering recreational opportunities for both residents and visitors.

Early plans for the park include a barrier-free ball (Miracle League) field, an inclusive playground, and a park shelter building.
